Presentation on the challenges of security and data protection in ISO 15118

Our Head of Automotive Security Research, Prof Christoph Krauß, spoke at the Irdeto INCHARGE EV Charging Infrastructure Symposium 2023 in Amsterdam about ‘How to address security and privacy challenges in ISO 15118’.

In his presentation, he addressed the security and privacy challenges in ISO 15118 and explained how these can be solved. Some of these are the protection of credentials, privacy protection or cryptographic agility, including the use of post-quantum cryptography. He presented various solutions, some of which have already been included in the new ISO 15118-20 edition.
