Publication of our white paper: Beyond The V – Extending the classic V-model through penetration testing

Traditional V-model processes struggle with the dynamic and volatile world of cyber security. Traditional TARA approaches are not able to cope with the emerging threats and volatilities. In addition, threats resulting from the integration of different components are difficult to recognise in advance. Penetration testing offers a proven technique to overcome these disadvantages. To combine the best of both worlds, we propose an extended version of the V-model complemented by agile penetration testing.
